Privacy notice
This notice covers the Mavren marketing website and pre-beta interest form. Mavren is currently an interactive prototype. The website does not connect to D2L, import coursework, or operate a student account.
Information we collect
If you request private beta access, the form asks for your email, university, whether you use an iPhone and D2L, your consent, and optionally your first name and the planning problems you select. You choose whether to submit this information.
Vercel, the website host, may process basic request information such as IP address, browser information, requested pages, timestamps, and security logs as part of hosting and protecting the site.
Why we collect it
- To assess eligibility for UNB research and beta access.
- To contact you about research sessions, product questions, or beta invitations.
- To understand which planning problems the first release should test.
- To prevent abuse and keep the website reliable.
We do not use the beta-interest form to enroll you in unrelated marketing.
Form processing
The beta form is routed through FormSubmit to hello@mavren.app. FormSubmit acts as a form processor and states that submissions are forwarded to the destination email and then deleted from its servers. Review the FormSubmit privacy terms before submitting.
Use, access, and retention
Access is limited to people working on Mavren who need the information for beta research and invitations. We keep an application only while it remains useful for those purposes or until you ask us to delete it. We do not sell beta-interest information.
You may ask what information we hold about you, correct it, withdraw from contact, or request deletion by emailing hello@mavren.app. We will verify the request before acting.
Future product data
The native Mavren beta will require a separate, more detailed privacy notice before it imports academic data. The intended product requirements include source history, encryption, limited collection, export, deletion, and no use of identifiable academic content to train shared models without informed consent. These are requirements, not claims about a released product.
